Over 2000 visitors will be making their way to Stoneleigh NAEC near Coventry in the heart of the UK to celebrate the miniature modelling hobby.
There will be over 100 stands showing a huge variety of work and you will discover 1000’s of handcrafted miniature marvels. It is sure to catch your imagination and inspire a whole new world that you can make your very own. Better yet, the people who make these diminutive delights will also be there, it’s always a treat to speak with the talented artists involved.
The venue itself is ideal for providing a spacious and comfortable setting, with free parking AND the organisers provide a free shuttle bus from Coventry Train Station direct to the Show. There is a cafe on site and plenty of public seating where you can relax, enjoy your new purchases and maybe make a friend or too along the way. Community is at the heart of the Miniatura Show and many people make lifelong friendships, brought together by their love of all things small!
Miniatura always has a few treats in store, and this time is no exception. More special exhibits, workshops and demonstrations than ever, including a glass blowing masterclass by Leo from Entranced Glassworks, advice from electrical expert David Bishop and even a working flea circus made by the ever-inventive Dee Dale.
If you are new to the hobby you need to know that it is one that rewards imagination, inspires flights of fancy, encourages historical research, will be littered with various projects and a huge sense of achievement. Whether it is putting the finishing touches to a perfect collection or learning you have a talent for making you will find it at Miniatura in the charming world of smaller scales.
