Over the last six months, NAEC Stoneleigh has invested in significant upgrades across its outdoor facilities and event infrastructure, supporting growing demand for outdoor events and larger-scale projects.
New toilet and shower facilities have been introduced across the venue’s outdoor amenity blocks, providing improved facilities for exhibitors, contractors, competitors and visitors. These enhancements support the diverse range of events hosted at NAEC Stoneleigh throughout the year, from exhibitions and trade shows to equestrian and outdoor events.
A key milestone for the venue has been the reinstatement of the bridge linking the site with Car Park 2, providing access to approximately 4,000 parking spaces. The bridge delivers a more convenient arrival experience for visitors while strengthening the venue’s ability to accommodate larger-scale events.
In addition, ongoing infrastructure improvements associated with HS2 have enabled further enhancements to visitor movement across the site. The bridge connection from Car Park 3 into the venue now offers a more direct and efficient route for attendees, helping to improve visitor flow and reduce congestion during peak arrival and departure periods.
To support the venue’s expanding events calendar, new fencing has been installed around both Ring B and the Grand Ring, enhancing site presentation while providing improved operational flexibility for event organisers.
The venue’s well-known Blackdown Sheds have also undergone a refurbishment and have been rebranded as The Sheds. The project includes extensive internal and external improvements, a new roof, and a full electrical and lighting upgrade. As part of the project, Shed 13 has been transformed into a dedicated indoor equestrian arena with supporting indoor stable facilities, supporting the wider operations of Grandstand Group.
Offering an additional 7,000sqm of indoor event space, The Sheds increase NAEC Stoneleigh’s total indoor capacity to 21,000sqm. This investment enables the venue to attract new event organisers while supporting the continued growth of its established and successful events portfolio.
These latest developments form part of NAEC Stoneleigh’s ongoing commitment to investing in its facilities and infrastructure. As the venue continues to evolve, the enhancements further reinforce its reputation as a leading destination for exhibitions, conferences, consumer events, agricultural shows and outdoor gatherings in the heart of the UK.
